Coil Cutter Kit - DREMEL Version

This Coil Cutter Kit is for use with a DREMEL only. See below for specifics. Kit includes: Aluminum 6" long coil holder block and steel top plate for holder; Saw blade, guard for Dremel with adapter bushing, 1 saw arbor to fit 3/8" hole blades. Coils to be cut can be up to 4 inches long and 7/8 inch (22 mm) in outside diameter. Coils may be made of 14 through 30 gauge wire. (Coils of 30g wire can not be smaller than 1/8" inner diameter.) (NOTE: Does not fit battery-powered, cordless or very old Dremels). We use a Dremel 200 here in our shop.

1 2oz stick of Cut Lube lubricant

Coils to be cut can be up to 4 inches long and 7/8 inch (22 mm) in outside diameter. Coils may be made of 14 through 30 gauge wire. (Coils of 30g wire can not be smaller than 1/8" inner diameter.)It can cut non-ferrous metal: copper, silver, aluminum, gold. NOT recommended for steel or Titanium!

Winder & Mandrels sold separately.

DREMEL Compatibility: Because there are dozens of Dremel varieties, it is not possible for us to test each one with the Coil Cutter Kit. The main thing you need when it comes to choosing a Dremel is the ability to unscrew the top portion, shown in the last photo. You also want to use a corded Dremel, not a cordless version. Kevin always says to buy the cheapest, most basic version, as those are most likely to have the removable top portion. We use a Dremel 200 here in our shop.

Urethane Pieces

Bag of 10 pieces of urethane for use with impression dies. 95 durometer sheet. Pieces range from approximately 1/2 inch squares. Thickness of each piece is 1/4 inch. Note: These will fray, crack and deform with use, but you will get many uses from them.
