Jr Justice Society Badge

This is a Fine Silver Stamping. It measures 1" wide x 1 1/2" tall.
SKU: Drop Hammer Fund

Some of you may remember when I went to Rhode Island to get a huge collection of antique jewelry dies. Well when I went I met laura and Duke and their friend David Manny. Laura and Duke own the company that we purchased the die collection from. They have been in this huge factory building that is from the 1840s. They have been running this company for decades it is the last locket company in the United states. They are having to move in order to save the company. There is alot of heavy equipment left that needs homes. I am going to buy the drop hammer that was used not only for striking most of the dies that we now own but it was used to make the dies. This is an important piece that needs to be saved from the scrap yard. There are very few of these left in the United states. This hammer is on the third floor of the factory. It weighs 8 thousand pounds. It needs to come out by crane. I am going to put together a fund raiser so we can save this hammer. I have a really cool die that came from this collection. I have the original junior justice society badge from 1942 by DC comics. I am going to strike 100 silver badges to help raise the money for the crane to move this hammer out of the building and get it to our shop where it will continue on as a vital part of our business. If you guys are interested I would really appreciate your help. The badges will go up tomorrow. We will make 100 of them and they will be 50 dollars each. Thanks again.
